Training Programme Titled; Introduction to the ISO 17025:2017 Standard

Programme Aim:

To introduce in a practical and understandable manner the requirements of the ISO17025:2017 Standard and to develop a level of comfort for the participants when they are consulting with and interpreting the Standard. It further aims to define clearly the roles, responsibilities and benefits for all staff members who work within an Accredited Laboratory.

Programme Objectives:

  • Recognise the significance for both the Staff and the Laboratory of attaining ISO 17025:2017 Laboratory Accreditation Status
  • Detail the ISO 17025:2017 Accreditation Process
  • Define the structure of the ISO 17025:2017 Standard
  • Identify the requirements from a selected number of elements of the 17025:2005 Standard addressing Quality Management Systems issue
  • Identify the Technical Requirements as defined within the ISO 17025:2017 Standard and their impact on the Organisation
  • Understand the role of I.N.A.B as the National Accreditation Body
  • Prepare for both Internal and External Audits against the ISO 17025:2017 Standard
